The deal, plainly.

- Lend Shelf is a web tool for recording which shared laptop is with whom. It is provided by WeldonPC (WeldonPC.com). It does not lend, rent, sell, insure, repair or look after laptops, and it does not check who anyone is.
- The shelf's records are only as right as what people type. Do not rely on them as proof of who damaged or lost a laptop.
- Keep the manager link private. Whoever holds it controls the shelf. Lost manager links cannot be recovered.
- Use it for lending laptops to adults. Do not store children's information, health details, or anything secret in names or notes.
- Do not use the site to harass anyone, to store other people's private details, or to overload the service. Abuse limits apply.
- Prices: Shelf Pass $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, Event Pass $1.00 for 7 days. Monthly and yearly Passes renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next payment. Payments are not switched on during the preview, when everything is free.
- The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it running and backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available; keep the paper sheet for when it is not.
